The The Cutter Creek Golf Classic, an NGA pro tour event (formerly Hooters) will be held March 25-31. The Chamber will again provide a welcoming dinner and coordinate volunteers and private housing for the golfers. Those involved last year had a great time. If you would like to volunteer or keep golfers that week please let us know.
NGA Cutter Creek Golf Classic (Formerly Hooters), March 25-31. This a pro tour event beginning Sunday March 25th with the Chamber providing a welcoming dinner for the golfer. There will be activites all week with the tournament being held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The tournament is open free to the public.
The Chamber will again coordinate volunteers and private housing for the golfers. If someone is interested in volunteering of housing a golfer(s) that week please contact the Chamber at 252-747-8090. Please leave a message if no one is in the office.
The Greene County Performing Arts series is proud to announce the Mal Williams and Family Concert to be held on Thursday, March 29th at 7:30pm at the Victory and Dominion Church located at 1438 Highway 258/13 North of Snow Hill. A native of Greene County, Dr. Mal Williams and his family – wife Mary and children Charmaine and Malkarska, Jr. – have received international acclaim for their unique blend of traditional and contemporary spiritual music. Adults tickets are $15 amd studemt tickets are $5. Tickets may be purchased at the Greene County Museum or at the door the night of the concert.
